E60 m5 cooling fans

Iv just got back from a short run in the m5.

Normally the fans go off when I take the keys out and you can hear them slowing down.

This time they are still on high speed 5 mins after parking up.

Oil is at about 90 no lights or warnings.

Is it just because it's so hot today?

Mine continue to run in hot weather or if I've been a little spirited in my driving just before switching off.

I have the same thing with my M5 I think its quite normal with these cars in hot conditions.
It indicates the cooling is working effectively, I would be more concerned if in hot weather or after a spirited drive it didn't run on.
