does anyone know the Toyota 2e engine?
Discussion
So, I've got a bit of oil on the spark plug threads and briefly talking to a tradie on site he said it may be the spark plug 'O' rings.
I've tried looking it up online with no luck, so anyone here able to help? As it sound like a smallish job I could quite happily do.
While we're here, the MOT guy said theres a little play in the rear hub (96 starlet)that might be worth looking at. Is it an easy fix or better off with someone who knows.

Hi.
The 2e engine doesn't have O-rings for the spark plugs so I would check if the cam cover gasket has leaked along its front edge and down the recesses in the head where the plugs live.
That is cheap (should be £10-£15 for a gasket) and a straight forward job to fit.
The rear wheel bearings are a press fit into the hub, so unless you have access to a reasonable tool kit and preferably a hydraulic press, depending on your level of experience, they can be a bit of a pain to change.
