On a pre registered car what can you expect the save percentage wise bearing in mind a brand new one atm is around 10-12% of rrp

All depends on what price they have it up for, is priced to sell? Or sat there at list etc...

You'd use the current new build discount as a base then, depending on spec push for more, I once got 28% off a showroom model (unregistered) e92 M3 but that was a fluke and right time right place situation.

Lots of different factors come in to play, how long have they had it? They get 120 days consignment from BMW UK so at around 100+ days they will want rid.

Like you, I'm also keeping an eye out and finding things to be varied. I think it's a matter of waiting for the right car to come along for you and go with what you feel happy with. I'm still going round and round in circles with whether to go new/used etc.

Work out what the car would be, new price less 18% discount, and offer that.
That car has been pre-registered for a reason, dealers are usually glad to see the back of a pre-reg car.

Ha currently I am being offered 0.6% off a Pre-reg and almosht 20 times that off an un-registered car.......... go figure!
