I'm just about to wire my living room. I'm looking for a decent home cinema wall plate, I'm only going for 5.1 as I know separation in my 6x4.5m room isn't enough for 7.1 etc.

I'd like to cable in the future kitchen/diner/open room, so looking at a 7.1 plate where I take off for the extra feeds.

Has anyone got a link to a decent home cinema wall plate, or just use a brushed plate and feed all cables etc through?

Any other bits I should fit before the walls and floor are in?

Take a look at the Fisual range - they're mounted on Click Deco plates, so any other switchware in this range will match.

I've just done my lounge using these, only thing is you need a deep back box and I ended up using all of the knock outs given how thick the wire is that I put in the walls. Looks good though.

A mate runs Aca-apex in Leighton buzzard.

They make this for both us trade and retail outlets and deal direct.

Give mike a call.

I used these:

Work well, look good and a decent range to get stuff that matches.

Considering other wiring at the same time if you can, even if not connected - I lost that argument with my other half while doing a whole house refub and now finding to my cost that being right is no satisfaction frown
