This looks rather neat, and good be a good alternative to existing awnings.

That does look good as an alternative, I agree. I guess we'd need to know how long the sunshade part is and whether they could do an extra long one. I'd also be interested in the height underneath the pod bit for folks over 6 foot high, too...I wonder if it would fit a Hymer?

I couldn't see the price either. Does look neat though although perhaps only suited to VW possibly, would look too small for something bigger perhaps.Did it say anywhere what the likely cost would be?

Worth watching though as if it takes off it could easily be scaleable I reckon...
There is a market for a real lightweight; simple to put up; small in terms of packing away awning type thing, like this.
I use lillypad leisure screens to do this but they dont give the same amount of wind shelter that this would. We also have a blow up awning but I seldom bother with that for just 1 night stops
