Hi all,

I am a absolute newbie in the world of PCP and bite the bullet and purchased a Audi A6 2.0 tdi (13 plate) in July 2015.

Unfortunately in Nov'15, somebody (being polite as its my first post) hit me head-on and the A6 suffered front, steering and front wing damage. The opposite side accepted liability and car was repaired through insurers.

My question is -
1. Will the accident have a detrimental affect on the final balloon payment?
2. Do I need to declare the accident now or when returning the car?

During the repairs, I was quiet keen follow the works and one of the thing the estimator said (bit of a wide boy who kept using his experience in the motor trade as his answer for everything) they wont know if the car has been in a accident. I don't want mention it, if isn't asked.

Thanks

I'm not sure about handing back but I crashed my Mazda 2 which was on a PCP and then part exchanged it against my old S3 without issue. So long as the repairs are good I see no issue.

As long as the repairs are carried out to a high standard, then nothing to worry about.
The overall condition of the car (mileage etc) will only really come into question if you plan to hand it back at the end of the term - any other situation would just be handled like a part-ex.
