Might not be what it's called but hopefully you know what I am typing about?
My "Rubber Bumper Trim" at the front end has chrome bits on while at the rear it is plain black rubber.
I would like to get both ends to match, should they be plain black rubber on a 1988 S1 or was the chrome trim an option?
Does anyone sell this?
I think I would prefer without the chrome trim, just left plain black...
Thanks, Andrew.

Don't think the early cars had the chrome finisher trim?

there is a recess in the fibreglass to accept the trim, it's not just stuck on so possibly your car has had a replacement bonnet some time in its life?

I will have a closer look, so from what you say I cannot just take the front Rubbers off, maybe I would have to get black trim instead then?

Yes the front looks like it has the recess hence the chrome trim, and for the record the rear doesn't so probably a replacement bonnet at some point as you suggested.

So I guess I either leave it as it is or get the chrome trim replaced with black trim.

Does anyone know the trim width and depth please as I would like to try and find the correct size BEFORE I remove it.

Thanks again.

10mm x 5mm but you may want to measure your own in case there were any differences/changes?

10mm black trim

Hi All.
I have one trim left off mine, 1988 (feb) it has no chrome trim on it, spare if you want it, its 820mm long so it could be front or rear?

Thanks Alan, looks like my Rubber is OK, it is the trim/moulding in the recess I need to sort out.

Good point, TVR didn't really have much that was standard.
