To the gentleman in the Vauxhall Omega who I 'overtook' just before a bend off of the A33, my sincerest apologies.

My foot got stuck between the brake and the accelerator, too bigger shoes I'm afraid. That was more of a collision avoidance than overtake...not that the lorry/van coming the other way thought so I would think.

Sorry, when you flashed me and motioned for me too pull over...I only do that for the boys in blue, Police not the band!!! That said, with Hazeley nearby, you could be just that, the Police not in the band!! Oops!

Still I made it home in one piece and have now changed my trousers. Note to self...wear different shoes!!!

Reminds me of when I turned through a green light, to find myself head on towards an ambulance on the wrong side of the road and no siren going. Hit the brakes too hard car went sidesways, let off and some how we missed. It was very nearly a sticky end to my early noble experience.
Glad you and the car are ok

I was lucky. When I took my Noble around to a friends who had never seen one, he was so overcome he gave me a brand new pair of karting boots, still in the box, that he was saving for when he started again. He said that after seeing the Noble they deserved to be driven in a mans car, not a 4 foot square souped up up lawnmower!

Martin.

Yeah I have some karting boots from my karting days but I would be a little reluctant to wear them.

It makes me laugh when you go to track days and there are people who turn up with the boots, suit etc etc. Once saw a bloke with a Schuberth Schumacher helmet too!!

Lets face it, you better be really good to wear all that wihtout looking a prat.

Ooh... apologies to any Noble owners who wear all the clobber, I'm sure you probably are good.

My fault, bought some new Timberland Indian moccasin thingies which look as thin as race boots, but in reality are quite wide...as I found out. First sign of problem is arriving at the roundabout just down from the factory and braking to a stop at 6000rpm .

Anyway, sat on the motorway for a couple of hours, pop off on the A33 and bingo, looney move on the Omega!
