Removing the console

Seems like the best way to access the VSS on an LT77 is from the top. Can only just about see it from underneath, let alone get to it. The wiring looks sound though even though its just above the exhaust.

Whats the best way to get access and any tips on what to remove and what not to remove ?

To remove the center console slacken off the handbrake so it can be pulled as verticle as possible, release two bolts at rear of the whale tail and lift up and pull back, bolts are underneath the edge one each Side

No access panel on Precats and I assume LT77 500s, you need to remove the exhaust.
