The standard otter switch [intermotor 50250 ] has a temp range of 88c on and 74c off, once the fans come on will the temp ever drop to 74c to turn them off?

I used an 88/82 switch when I had to change mine.

And, IIRC, you will need a 30mm deepish socket to change it. Just be quick when you whip the old one out, to avoid much coolant loss

I got tired of replacing the intermoto switches every year or so, just not reliable, so went with an adjustable temp switch, not the same but similar to this one, set to whatever suits you.

I wouldn't use Intermotor or CI (commercial ignition) anything absolute ste in motor trade circles Wahler or nothing

Meaning anything they manufacture i.e coils,ign modules,dizzy caps,rotors arms,switches etc etc
