Police parking!
Discussion
We walked into town tonight for a meal (just got back)
On our way to the restuarant which is down a one way street, we passed a jewellers with the alarm going off.
The police car had driven up the road the wrong way, no problem with that, and double parked right outside, blocking the road completely.
What amazed me was the fact that he could have easily parked less than 20' away. They were standing outside the jewellers waiting for the keyholder to turn up to let them in!
What was the point? The queue of traffic behind was stuffed. Some of them resorted to backing up.
It does annoy me the way they think they can park where they like without good reason.

They? THEY? Who's 'they' then? Is that the collective 'they', the hundreds of thousands of Plod all over the country?
I have never been to where you saw this and believe it or not i don't personally know the guys involved.
God i hate the moaning public. THEY are so stupid...

I'm with you on this one gaz - I often find myself cursing at police cars.
For instants - I went to makro a few weeks ago and there must have been over half the car park empty and the police car pulls in and parks straight in the disabled bay !!!!
And
I work in a busy one way town centre street, where there is hourly parking on one side and the other is double yellow lines - Next door to my offices is a hairdressers and on a regular basis I see a police car pull up on the yellows and go and get a hair cut - while the rest of the world has to drive round and round trying to get a space !!!!
And
not wanting to change the subject much, but what makes them think they cant get away with driving and not using there indicators!! I have lost count at the manoy of times I have nearly used the two finger sign due to them not signalling at roundabouts and junctions
Ahhhgh I feel better now thats off my chest !!!!
P.S Sorry Streetcop - I'm sure your nothing like your collegues.

Maybe they had an orange badge?
Like the camera van I saw parked on the A515 in such a way that traffic was backing up on the nearby roundabout! There's no way the operator could have been playing with a full deck!
I doubt it was his deck he was playing with
