Continental Airshows
Discussion
Having seen the air display at Goodwood Revival this year and watched on t'net some of the 'action' from Duxford and RIAT that I am considering going abroad to get to watch a proper air display.
I will now to turn blind to google to see what I can find out but any recommendations - are the shows biased to prop/jet, are they 2 days, do you need a good ticket or is general viewing fine, etc. - would be much appreciated.

It was a bit bobbins this year wasnt it.... strangely, on Thursday evening, we were sat in the Goodwood hotel having a few shandies and an early supper and the Spitfire was obviously getting a run out.. but that was a mini air display on its own... few loops, barrel rolls etc... but i guess with no crowds to really see it.
The reg changes have made it a bit dull.... cant really recommend any european air displays... not been to any!

That display was for the Freddie March spirit of aviation launch party. The reg changes have made it a bit dull.... cant really recommend any european air displays... not been to any!
