Expensive HT leads worth the extra?
Discussion
I too thought about these, but quite a few people who know a lot more than me say they're not worth the extra, and as the 'standard' leads don't cost the earth, I ask for them to be changed with the plugs at every 12K service, as the engine bay in both the V8 and S6 cars get a lot hotter than normal cars, I think it's best to replace them rather than having them cooking for 3 years.
IIRC the Magnecore leads are gauranteed for a number of years, far more than standard ones. They are used in NASCAR racing so can withstand high temps. They also look very good. The shielding on them is excellent, some inductive timing lights fail to ge a reading from them.
I've used them on the S3 and the mini and have had no problems.
Definitely reccomended.
