We have a cheap Samsung digital camera which my OH took away with her a few months ago. She took some photos but for some reason 1 photo seems to be corrupt as when we scroll through the photos on the camera it gets to this one and does nothing. We then have to turn the camera off and on again.

I've tried to delete the photo when connecting the camera to my laptop but I get the message that it's not accessible.

Any ideas how I can delete his 1 photo?

Thanks.

Transfer the decent photos to a PC (like you should anyway!) then format the card.

Is it in camera memory or on a card?

If it's a card, put it in a reader and attach to a PC, copy off all the photos you want to keep (don't even try to access the dodgy one), then reformat the card - or throw it away and get a new one that works.

If it's in camera memory, the same technique may work if you connect the camera to a PC.

This kinda thing is almost always a dodgy memory card.

Use a pc to recover the file if possible.

Then either reformat (low level) or throw away and get a new one.
