Free sample of a Mens fragrance ~5 years ago, what was it?

About five years ago (maybe longer) someone posted a thread about a free sample of a men's fragrance.
It was a very expensive item and the sample came in a glass tube about 30mm long x5mm wide.

I think it was about £100 for 60ml or something like that.

Does anyone know what I'm on about, and what it was called please?

I wonder how successful that campaign was? Creed Aventus has been my go-to ever since, although I can't always afford to indulge and have to wait until a landmark birthday. Having said that you don't need a lot, the bigger bottle sprays too much with each press IMO.
