I have been playing with the D70 today, my dad has given me his old vivitar 28-200 manual focus lense
here are a few pics from it, what do you think these havent been photoshopped

They look fine to me. If that lens doesn't support metering then you've done very well.
Being picky you could perhaps increase the exposure a little, so when there aren't any very bright areas in shot, you could try adding 1/3 or even 2/3 +EV (look it up ) and see the difference. Keep the 'highlights' warning in the viewfinder as you don't want burnt out bits.
Have a nice weekend playing and working through the manual!

Yep, sold it to Lee a few weeks ago. I am presently just driving the company rep mobil and enjoying having some cash again.
I bought a D70 to help me get over my grief Yet another decision you probably helped sway I have enjoyed looking at your pics over the past few months.
It'll be interesting to see how long I can hold off for before diving back in. I had a quick look in MMC last week and was blown away by a gorgeous looking black s2 Exige. Way out of my budget!
