Bathroom Cabinets

Anyone know any good bathroom furniture suppliers?

I'm trying to find a decent bathroom cabinet in cherry or walnut wood with a mirror on the front, but am not having much luck so far.

I know, it is a bit random.

However, I've trawled the web and local places and failed to turn anything up, so am hoping the pistonheads knowledgebanks will turn something up.

Your best bet will be to look for a carpenter, and have one made up. It won't be as expensive as you might think, and it will last several hundred years provided its looked after!

Just make sure its not varnished, oils and waxes only in a bathroom.

Too true. I had my eye on some corner-fitting bathroom cabinets (the smallest room here at Wedg1e Villas is 6' square, me Julie still wants to pack the contents of a medium-sized Boots in there though.... ) and they've been withdrawn from the range, none in stock anywhere.
That'll teach me to shop at Bent & Quirky... maybe I'll try Ifear...

Can't help in any way, shape or from with your problem though, Nevin. Maybe you need to source some suitable wood, a router and a circular saw, and make your own...?

If you're ever near Colchester, try Falcon on Cowdray Avenue. Three big showrooms full of stuff; in fact it gets quite bewildering!

I had the same problem and bought kitchen cabinets instead and cut them down to size (in depth), or rather had a fried that does kitchens do it for me!

Theres a far greater range in kitchen cabinets. There are some companies that make bathroom cabinets like kitchen cabinets so you can choos the size of the cabinet, the style of door, handles, whether to have glass shelves etc. I don;t know of the names though. I know our local bathroom shop do a range though.

You say you are in London, they are about 15 mins directly south of the M25.

I know it may be a bit of a way but they have a MASSIVE showroom and can get hold of almost anything.

Fraid not Nevin. They are the old skool types, who Pride themselves on good service without the need for an electrical box of gremlins. They'll have a leaflet with one in I bet.
