Is anybody here watching his last series, which started just this week?
I know nowt about steam engines and the like, but I've always had a fascination with the Industrial Revolution. Fred Dibnah embodied everything that was good about England being a world power, and his infectious personality comes across perfectly on television.
Seriously, if you're even slightly interested in things mechanical, you have to watch this series. 27 years to restore his traction engine - its fantastic.
If you missed the first episode and want the torrent file for it, drop me a PM.
