"cheap" Big Green Egg?

Thought i would try on here...
I am after a large big green egg, having seen one in action the other day. Given that it's autumn and not really heading into outdoor cooking season, are there any decent deals around anyone is aware of? I've tried google and quite a few websites of their dealers, but no luck. I suspect they just don't really get discounted, but if anyone knows otherwise...I'd be very grateful.

It is a fantastic piece of kit. Unfortunately, Costco only stock these things at the start of Summer. So you won't be able to buy one until next May - if they decide to sell it again.
BGE are, in my opinion, a triumph of marketing over substance - leading to massively inflated prices...
Kamado Joe as mentioned are just as good, for a fair bit less. Split zone too which the Egg won't do, and if you must BGE accessories will fit.
Personally, I think the Monolith is the one to get at the lower price points - simply superb quality (stainless fixings throughout), and some nice additional touches. Come as complete packages too so you get pretty much everything you'd want.
We're a little way off getting our outdoor kitchen sorted, but I've played and cooked on most of the options. Always get a nomex gasket, for any of the kamados available. Felt will just melt on your first hot cook...
When I do buy, depending on what I can get past the missus, here's my top three based on price point:
'Cheap'
- Monolith Le Chef.
'moderate' - Primo Oval XL
'honey, the wedding is postponed' - Komodo Kamado Ultimate 23 (the grills/coal basket weigh over 100kgs on their own!) - simply the best by a country mile. For the UK the best option is to order direct from Indonesia (which means you can choose your tiles too!)
Oh, and a looftlighter, MAP torch, or heat gun is great - you never, ever, want to use a firelighter in a ceramic...
