The sills look like they have been blended in? Can't see very well on the phone.

Sorry but I can't see how an auto works in a TVR or why you'd buy one to be honest. UK car, US bumpers? How did that happen? You'd pick up a very nice V8 for that right?

Hi Gents

That is a Series 3 280i one of only we believe ten made. They all had a moulded body with a different bonnet style with the vents on the side and a large raised lip at the windscreen end. As you can see it has the 4 gauge dashboard as used in SEAC's but this dash style was first used on the 280i S3. Most were also auto's.
The S3 were the last 280i's made and the factory redesigned them to be more like the 400/450 series in a hope they would sell but they didn't they used some of the eqiperment used on the USA pattern cars. The bumper rubber inserts are the same as used on the 'S' the PAS pump is the same as the one used on the USA cars and it makes the steering lighter that any other wedge including other 280i's
The yellow car is the nicest S3 I have seen. I wished my S3 was as good, I may even bid on it so I can use it so Rose can drive my blue one.

The first S3.

Andy

Auto kills it for me. I don't like the lower sill panels being body car. Much better black. That being said condition is great. Could be a good buy.

My Wife would have a S##t fit if I turned up with another one mate. :-).

Love the colour though. Thought there was something not quite right about the body design until Mr T pointed out it's supposed to be like that. Rare car one of only 10.

As said you could probably get a useable v8 for similar money but I doubt it would be in the same condition for £5k?

Love the look of the car and I'd be having a closer look but as said above the auto box ruins it for me.

Someone buy it now. It's nearly as rare as a 420se

Hi

The yellow car has had a respray and the lower sill panel should be black as per my blue one.
