Hiya! I've just been given a bullet cam for my birthday but the problem is i have no video camera to record it on!

there seem to be so many around & every shop has an opinion (or sometimes havent got a clue!) as to which one to get! I dont really want to spend a fortune as it is going to get battered around in my Shelsley on trackdays and outings & shoved in a waterproof pack when i go wakeboarding and biking etc... the only thing i know it must have is an AVin and DVout and i i think probaby using miniDV tapes, but other than that i'm confused! help!

Thanks in advance!
Chris

You are right, you need the analogue in on the camera (it's coloured yellow 99% of the time).

I'm guessing you got the Sony bullet cam? If so - chances are it came from RF Concepts?

My advice is give them a ring (or wherever it came from) an ask for a list of cameras on which it'll work.

Personally I use the Sony TRV33E - which is fine, but a bit expensive (if you get this one make sure it is the 'E')

Have fun... e mail me if you need more help

Sony GV-D1000 should do it. Another option is to use a hi-8 recorder, plenty around, just depends on what quality you need.

We've got a Sony HC40 which takes a Bullett Cam, as does the HC30.

Canon MV700i can connect to a bullet, costs under £300.
