White body, red roof with full tan interior and you're worrying about the sound?

Couldn't care less if the 718S had 400bhp and did 0 - 60 mph in 3.0 seconds. If it sounded like a 718 S I would never swap one for my BGTS! Still, I prefer the new multi function sports steeering wheel to that foul monstrosity Porsche used to offer and I prefer the new PCM. That's it.

The worst colour combo for me! Saying that, colours and cosmetic choices, each to their own, quite personal, I do not think they are up to discussions. rolleyes

Here is another one, GTS disappears pretty smooth in the beginning;

Seriously for British roads who cares about these extreme performance numbers. I have a 981s that I adore. I do not want a 4 cyl turbo car thank you. Mine is plenty fast enough and sounds a lot better.

Me too, exactly this... it's about more than a bit more performances & low down torque. I've had a turbo car, I get that the it makes progress easier but I prefer to work for the rewards. I've only had my 981 CS 5 months so it's not about being unable to afford a 718. And of course I understand we prefer our sports car fun in different flavours.

I'd be willing to bet senior Porsche management wanted to stay with the flat six when developing the 718 Boxster and get it through emissions but had that horrid 4 cylinder turbo engine forced on them by the ever powerful dark Lords at VAGargue

Astonishing how much they get out of that F4T. It's one quick car.

Indeed - but unfortunately power isn't everything.
