just returned from excellent drive to vendee france,last trip was marred only by erratic temp gauge making me doubt my trevs temp,and a crap radio not taking my mind off of the gauge.since then i have fitted david beers temp sender kit and radio amp,wot a difference.my temp gauge rock steady and crystal clear radio reception (icannot endorse these products enough)and 100+mph cruising in relative safety (less plod)takes some beating.

Can you give me some details of the temp sender kit, mine is under reading and is on the list to be fixed at next service at the end of the month.
Can't see it on the modwise site.

Recommend too! Easy to fit and well worth the money!

gf350,temp sender kit lets you move your connection to a spare sender unit on the top of the engine,which gives a more accurate reading,i dont think this is on the modwise site ,if you mail david beer he,l be able to explain better

That sounds like a good idea, that ones easier to get at for replacing as well. I've sent him an email.

Funny you should say that, the aerial lead has a flying earth coming out of the aerial plug and disappearing off into the car's guts somewhere....
