HMC Healey on Antiques Road Trip BBC1

I heard there was an HMC Austin Healey that featured in last nights (I think a repeat) Antiques Road Trip on BBC1. Nothing special about seeing a Healey in a TV programme, but an HMC Healey would be unusual; there can't be too of them about in the UK. Spoke to a chap at a show last year who owned one and he thinks his was the only one in the country; I think there's more than that to be honest. Colour was a two tone blue/white. Wonder if this is the same car here:

Also, does anyone know how many HMC's were produced?.

The registration is the same as the one in the show.

Anyone have an idea how many were made?, can't seem to find any info anywhere regarding production numbers. I wonder why they don't appear on the Healey Data site considering that they are recognised as an official Austin Healey by the Healey family and aren't a recreation, kit or replica of any kind. Lovely car even with the added flared wheel arches, but the prices for one (if you can find one for sale) are ridiculous, as much as an original 3000.

I think the Haldane was the closest you could get to one without having to take out a loan or sell your house. There are some really good examples of the Haldane that look just as good (both inside and out) as the original, though some that just don't quite look right. But the ones that do come up for sale aren't exactly being given away.
