There’s quite a few when I think about it:

1) I never knew how economic my daily (sensible) car was.
2) I never knew how bumpy the roads were.
3) I never knew you had to open the boot to fill up the tank.
4) I never knew how noisy multi-storey car parks were.
5) I never knew it’s important to watch the needles (temp, oil, volts, etc)
6) I never knew how much I relied on words/signs on buttons.
7) I never knew it was a choice of spare tyre or roof in the boot
8) I never knew the journey was always more important than the destination.

9) I never knew that for one week of driving it had to stay 3 days in the garage.
10) I never knew that after 3 months of ownership I could get so fed up with a car that I just want to scrap it.

just concentrate on No.8!

30,000 miles in my Griff, should think only 2,000 were actually necessary!

Before Cerbera ownership, I only had one surefire adage to get me through life (Betwixt her throbbing thighs, therein lies the prize)

But nothing puts a bigger grin on your face than finding a comfortable driving position (in the TVR) and starting her up!

Ain't that the truth. My missus says the only redeeming thing about me buying a TVR is that I regularly offer to do "little runs" (picking up the kids, etc).

I see you haven't changed whilst you've been away. I trust Joy doesn't realise she has been replaced by something big yellow and throbbing! Slipping into the old girl and going for a long hard ride, has a different meaning now eh?
