Hello im new to the forums so apologies if i make any mistakes.

I have a carbon black e46 m3. Will be selling shortly after i get the alloys fully refurbished due to some bubbling. They are shadow chrome at moment but im thinking of something different? Shall I keep them that colour or go black or even white? Have looked online for pictures for help but are none? Has anyone got any sensible ideas or pictures please? I have K Sport discs and pads all round so wanting red callipers to stand out?

Many thanks

For me Factory finish. Diamond cut. Nothing else works.

Although you might not get your costs back if selling soon, assume also you have the 19" wheel not the 18"?

The factory finished isnt diamond cut, its a high gloss polish with a light lacquer.

Maybe not, but that's what they will no doubt need to get anywhere near factory look. And it's much better than a flat colour, or powder coating. Mine looks very close to factory and mint.

You'll have a job finding anyone who can do them better than either lepsons or pristine wheels IMO.

I Wouldn't have done anything else with exception of buying new wheels.

Andy.

Black calipers and silver wheels - as close as possible to OEM.

Why draw attention to the calipers? They are hardly the prettiest items in the world.

Don't bother painting stock callipers anything other than OE. I still think black chrome look nice myself. Anything but white though!

IMO if the car is remotely a daily drive you will be disapointed within a year or two. Small wonder most companies only give a guarantee of 6 months for a diamond cut finish.

If it were I'd go either with Shadow Chrome or Smoked Chrome with a swaying to the latter. This is mine on Smoked Chrome, but I may go with Shadow next time. To me Silver just looks a little iffy!

Most Calipers I have seen are unpainted. Are you referring to having them the colour they were from the factory in their unpainted state (i.e a close match to silver etc.)?
