Can I have any pics of any dash boards as i have a home made dash in mine i have got an originnal dash and a stainless steel dash but neither seem to fit do they curve at the side buy the rev counter or are they straight

Are you wanting original dashes or replacement ones?

It has a slight curve and follows the line and shape of top and bottom dash sections. It should have a few tabs at the bottom that locate.

I have the dashes but the top of dash doesn't seem to push down

Sometimes there's a few small blocks of wood glued to the underside of dash top, to support the dash face, could be catching as your lowering top, try lifting dash top up and look for the blocks, either pull or push dash facia back to locate.

I've seen these blocks on a mates car but can't recall seeing them on my own car!

Mine has some metal "L" shaped brackets glued to the upper and lower fibreglass dash housings that the dash can lean against to keep it in place...
