Hi all

Would your alarm bells ring or have concerns if an OPC were selling a 14 plate 991 turboS with a 'decent' spec and lower mileage than a '13' plate for less money than a 13 plate they also had in stock?????

Out of all the TurboS' on the OPC network all but this one, have 1 previous owner this 14 plate one with 11k miles has 4 previous owners!!!!

Media/press car?????

Thoughts or knowledge of it anyone??? Car located in Edinburgh OPC

Cheers smile

What's the 1st letter of registration? If not R then not a press or PEC car .

Had a quick look . The cars are not miles away from each other on price or miles . Could simply be down to what the car owes the dealer .

Is tge 13 plate on sale or return? Sometimes private sellers like to be hopeful

Surely you have explained it? It has more owners, which would put some off.

Again, if you were to have it a year or two, that's another owner to add to the list and it will become that little bit less attractive as a result when you pass it on.

It's personally never put me off though.

I'm the 4th owner of my 997tt.1 but it's over 8 years old & I know the history to a degree. The OPC didn't really disclose its history
It's the only turbo/turbos on the dealer network that has 4 owners, every other car has one previous, 2 at most which just gets me thinking why this car has changed hands so many times.

I think you already know the answer to this one Gaz....the four owners and no real explanations from the selling OPC is nagging at your thoughts, so look for another one even though it's likely to cost you more. Good hunting mate. smile

Nice to see a familiar name in here, hope your well smile & how's the Cayman ??

It seems the OPC listing has a couple of errors as there are options fitted that aren't listed too and there are in fact 3 registered owners not 4
Have the reg now it's LK14 so doesn't start with an R
