Now the Air con's packed up
Discussion
Just got the Chimaera back on the road after sorting out the Fuse link and now the a/c has packed up.
I don't think it is anything we have disturbed as the wire from the Compressor to the condenser is one long piece.
The compressor is not firing up when you engage the switch/dial in the car.
I don't think the fuse has gone as the interior light still works and that is apparently on the same fuse.
The only thing I am thinking is that the system needs regassing, but it was only done about 4k (10 months) ago.
Is there any common problem or anything I can check before I go and get it regassed.
Lee.

The system has a pressure sensor which means the compressor won't work if there is no gas, so suggest you get it checked. The best advice I can give is ask the people regassing it to put dye in the system so they can check for leaks. (It comes out luminous green!!)
Mine had a fractured pipe on the compressor (common fault apparently) and as the engine moves there is no bracket to take the strain and it fractures the pipe!(needless to say mine now has a bracket!).
Also check pipework round back of engine as the main dealer routed mine round the throttle body which moved up and down and cut a neat groove in the pipe! (They don't get my custom anymore).
