How do you put a pic in here
Discussion
Doh!!!
Someone tell me and I will post a pic taken in dullish conditions shot on my D2x today of a boat just worked out about a mile away from where i was.
Using Nikon 70-200VR with a 1.4 times converter and switching on the new Nikon 'High Speed crop' which gives a 2x effect rather than the usual 1.5 from a digital camera. So i guess 'equivalent' of 560mm
ISO 100 @1/500th sec
errr hand held as well

You need somewhere to host the picture (eg. www.fontango.com).
Once you've done that you need to insert the link into your post like follows:
[pic] www.mypage/photo.jpg [/pic] but without the spaces.

Can i do the link to one of my own webpages then...if I just have one pic on the page?
it doesn't need to be on a page, just in existence on the Internet somewhere (i.e. so you can reference it at www.stefancarlton.net/pistonheads/favlandscape.jpg
edit:: no need for this now.
Hit quote to see how I embedded that picture (not sure if it'll actually appear as I'm in the process of moving servers)

Ok its on my website at www.sailshots.co.uk/hayling.html
Forget about the composition etc as it was an ar*ing about shot. But at that distance have to say I was rather impressed with the results
Oh I have also cropped it so this about 25% of the original
