Removing wiper rack and wheel boxes
Discussion
I know I saw a topic about this once.....
So, I removed the 2 bolts of the black cover. Wheel boxes are pushed down as far as can be. At the drivers side the black cover did come loose a bit because I removed some kit. Is it just pulling from now or wil I damage the wiper rack and cover?

Can't help with the removal, as someone else took mine off, but when you find that your wiper boxes are rusted to bu**ery, go to Leacy Classics if you need replacements as they sell the 40 tooth gear versions at a reasonable price.
I am literally in the midst of refurbishing my mechanism.

There are three blind rubber grommets on the front of the black housing, if you remove these they give you access to the internal fixings which when slackened off allow the cover to be lifted upwards. If you unclamp the motor and disconnect the wiring connector block, it should all come out as one.
Based on what I know and can see from mine.
Be careful pushing the wiper boxes, I found mine had plastic spacers bonded to the barrels and also bonded to the back of the black housing. I'm not sure if this is factory or someone's own effort.
Hope this helps.
