I have down loaded FS2004 but when I click on the shortcut nothing happens, any ideas.

I am using windows 10.

32 or 64 Bit system?

I can't get anything to run on W10 from that era. Shame, tried to get Rainbow 6 up and running a while back. No joy.

I didn't think FS2004 was available to download, it was disvc only.
I know FSX can be downloaded via Steam. Where did you get it from?

Would you need to run as admin,or in comparability mode,as its such an old game?

I mean I loaded from the 4 discs

You could check the Event Viewer to find out more information as to why the application has crashed upon start up ... As someone else said, try 'compatibility mode'. However it could be something as simple as your screen resolution being too high, or something graphics driver related ...
