Does anyone know/have any information regards the DB5 owned by Paul McCartney? I am looking for any interesting facts on this vehicle, I know of the record player and the supposed musical notes in the upholstery. Does anyone know of a picture of the trim or Paul McCartney car with the DB5? I can only find DB6 images

I wasn't aware that he owned a db5 - he definitely had a db6 (in dark green) which is where he allegedly wrote "hey Jude" - it was displayed a fair amount 18 months ago including at the London Classic car show

I have not heard about the DB5.

However, his DB6 is now owned by Aston Martin, but you probably know that.

You could try asking your question on the AMOC forum, where there is more knowledge about the older models.

At yes, see it now. That was a decent price for a db5 in 2012. Just shows you how far they have moved since

He owned a BRG DB6. I was lucky enough to get a ride out in it last year. Hot, cramped, loud... fantastic. Never really looked at the DB6 before that as i felt it was a bit of a lumbering old Hector compared to the DB5 but that car changed my mind. It was a demonstrator at Works Service in Newport Pagnell i believe but has since been sold. Not sure where it's gone now. Spendid car all the same.
