not sure yet, need to have a good look round it to see whats what, i did consider the idea of using as it is but the UK climate is so awful and i don't want to ruin 40 yrs of dry storage..
How very responsible of you! Be interested to hear what you do decide to do! Is there a UK "go to" specialist ?Cheib said:
So what are the plans for it?!?!?
not yet, its hasn't run in 40 yrs so needs a full overhaul before firing it up. The battery has leaked so it will need a new battery tray but other than that it looks totally original and solid.

I did the same thing earlier this year, now away for winter storage and I am missing the carnut conversations at petrol stations..

You have to love the weather in the US to keep these cars solid, mine came from Nevada, there was so little rain that the previous owner didn't bother to have a working wiper motor!
Good luck with the restoration - if you haven't already tried it the 356 registry is very good for answering technical questions.
