I decided to follow the advice of some members on this forum & fit NGK BPR6EIX plugs & ditch the extentions. I wish I had done this a long time ago, the result is superb, better throttle response , no shunting in top at 30, no crackling exhaust note on the over-run (I actually quite enjoyed the last bit but I can live without)
It even caught me out a couple of times today, had me grinning like an idiot & looking like one too no doubt to passers by.
Can`t recommend them too highly to any who have made the swap already, ( I`m probably the last one who hasn`t) biggrin:

Good call - my TVR guy has been so impressed with mine he now fits these, or the non-iridium version, as standard.

I`m a bit annoyed, I`ve not long got back from Italy, 2000 mile round trip, no problems but I think it would have been more enjoyable if the old girl had been running this well, I know, I`ll have to go back again smile
