What about an online translation service that charges per word?

Surely you mean "write fluent Spanish"? There will be people who can speak fluent Spanish but can't write it fluently.

Swap 'Spanish' for 'English' and you might have hit on the reason the punctuation, spelling and grammar sometimes seen in PH threads gets on some many peoples' tits.

Does anyone "write fluent English"? I don't think that's correct is it?

"Concise" perhaps?

We use http://www.virtuamc.com/ based near Madrid, owned by an English guy.

We use them for our website, marketing material and for translating utility bills etc; for the latter they charge €60, for the other stuff I'm not sure as that's Marketing's area.

They also do bigger stuff like the translation of Marca's website into English.

Try the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, they have a register of English to Spanish translators.

Freelancers will be cheaper than agencies.

I have lived in Spain for several years now. As a family we all speak fluently. I am working at the moment but my wife can do it for you. Let me know what you need doing and we can sort something out. Drop me a PM.

Cheers

Apparently you can though I failed in my previous reply.
