Any one been recently and recommend anywhere. Google gives lots of options but can't beat recommendations. Somewhere either central atl. Or out to Buckhead where I'm staying.

Can't help with BBQ but we recently went here https://thevortexatl.com/ and it was very good.

I'd recommend using TripAdvisor, didn't see me wrong during my recent trip to the US

The only one I've been to is Fat Matt's. About 10 mins from Buckhead, really nice and casual with great ribs!

Within walking distance, I'd also recommend the Bourbon Bar at the Intercontinental Buckhead (I was rather fond of The Governor cocktail), and the Copper Cove Indian Bistro. Not fancy, but great curry.

I know you're after BBQ, but if you get a hankering for some Chicken and Waffles, definitely check out OddBird or Piedmont & 10th... Both are a bit different and absolutely great.

Best ribs in the Atlanta metro area imo.
