I spent my formative years racing Mirrors too, I think I raced at 3 National Championships and numerous regional ones.
Fabulous little boats that in my opinion have lost a little of their character since the change to Bermuda rigs and plastic hulls.
I remember well turning up to the Sunday club racing when it was blowing old boots and hearing the old bugger's with their bigger boats refusing to go out while is stupid lot launched and thrashed around for an hour trying not to break anything. Happy days!
