Spotted in the window of a jeweller near me. £3,500 with box and docs. Deal of the month or walk on by?

I'm a bit of a pam fan (own 2). I'd say it's a good deal at 3.5 assuming vg condition. Buy it!

It's been in the window two weeks. I might take a chance and leave it another week or so, then go in waving a debit card and bid £3,250 to give me some wiggle room if we don't bond and I need to flip it.

If only it was a 111 rather than 104, I don't like pams with date for some reason

I agree. I've one with date and one without and really do prefer the without. Also prefer Rad to Lum and man to auto. But I still think the OPs found a well priced watch even without his intended lowball.

Pams CAN be a bit temperamental. (Think pre-430 8 cyl ferraris). Wonky canon pinions a favourite. An easy fix, but not what you really expect of a five grand watch.

Same, tbh to me a PAM should have 2 hands and that's about it smile

3500 seems like a good price, WF have a 2006 no B&P for similar money

It's why I rock a 112, even 000 is too fussy!

Worth a look OP

Older model 111, I always really liked that bridge engraving though

Edit: or this base rad http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Panerai/Radiomir%20Ma...

Damnit, now you've got me tempted

It's a good price for that model, cheapest on watchfinder is 3650. Not such a steal if it's not your preferred model though

I would say all the PAM prices on WF are quite good.

Maybe a 219 to be a bit different, just wish it had a sausage dial

They have a 634 in stock, would be my perfect watch I think (love a logo) but it has spring bars for some stupid reason.

I'd go with the 088 at Blowers, you'd get that for 3.5k I think

Mmm that 634 is nice, classic base pam whilst being a bit different.

219 is just a 112 for southpaws!

Some good suggestions and choices for sure, but, gentlemen, who could disagree that at the price point (3.5-4 mint used) it's impossible to do better than a 337- if you can find one for sale.

If you mean PAM 337 then yes I would disagree. If you buy a Panerai it needs to have a crown bridge wink
