Surely wouldn't take too much effort to add mudguards so it could be used on normal track days.

That power, such short wheel base, cross-plys I would certainly crash & die if I lapped it, in fact I've died twice just from looking at it!

Drivetrain / gear lever / pedals arrangement would be immediately familiar to an early front engined Grand Prix or formula junior racing driver. I have to say, aside from the obvious risk of getting the gear lever in your nads, there is also a propshaft spinning at 8,000rpm between your legs.
