I am desperately seeking the right hand thread hub nut for my chimaera.

I had to cut of the old one as the stub axle was broken.

Does anyone know where I can get one off the shelf or has anyone got one hopefully locally in the Surrey/London area?

Sorry - I don't anything about TVR, but if it's just a large castellated nut, it might be worth checking agricultural machinery suppliers/repairers - we use a lot of these. smile

they may not have the nut as an item but some bearing kits include the nut.

You may be lucky and find one at a Ford Dealer but Sierra's have been gone a long time now, could be listed as obsolete scratchchin

And in case you need a spare for the other side: http://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tvr-d0...

Both half the price of the Ford dealer too!

Simon has sorted a couple of bearing kits complete with nuts, (I hope) from Euro car parts. Hopefully I'll be picking those up about 1 o'clock.

Peter, if you have the wheel bearing kits and are happy with quality & fitment I'd be obliged for part numbers etc. if you don't mind, please.

Many thanks Peter, is there a different number for left hand side or same number but specify which side when ordering?

Depending where you buy them but bearing kits often have both nuts so they don't have to stock left and right.
