Thinking of moving some pots from previous employers (not final salary) and Equitable Life into one place.

HL seems to be the favoured option.

Don't need the 25% cash at present.

Any caveats please chaps?

HL are fine, and well organised.

Fidelity offer something similar, possibly at lower cost depending how much £ you have in your SIPP.

There are also other providers who may be cheaper than either of these, but HL and Fidelity both have good names and a big retail presence.

Thanks.

I've not heard a bad word about HL to be fair.

Google reviews on them. Lots of issues about their charges.

I was all set to open a SIPP with them to consolidate a few pensions, and their charges were very high considering its a SIPP.

Ask for a reduction. Seriously. They are a good company in a competitive marketplace smile

I have just opened an drawdown account with HL and it was pretty painless. Whenever I ring up the staff are always very helpful and pretty knowledgeable. I have had an account with them for about 15 years.

Their charges are double most other pension providers at the level I"m looking at (circa 250k).

If they are adding no extra value then you would be minded to look elsewhere.
