Rear lens cover - more than 1 type ?

Having some work done to repair a cracked OS rear light lens and body damage after someone reversed into my Chimaera 
I have the early type rear lights with the Fiesta lights. The garage have said that the new lens they ordered has a grey tint, whereas my old one had a blue tint, which he's not seen before.
Has anyone heard of this before. Are there different lens tints ? Keen to keep the car as original as possible so would like to keep the blue tint.
Suppliers don't seem to quote what colour they are.
