How do I tax my car?
Discussion
Due to me being disorganised and useless, I am unable to find my V5 document.
I had a car parked on my drive which was SORNed, I had to move it from my drive and park on the street. I know I should have then got it taxed, but due to it having no MOT I could not get this done.
Whilst parked on the road, it was clamped for having no tax.
Clamp removed yesterday and new MOT obtained.
But how do I tax the car? I cannot find V5, DVLA are too busy to even let me join a queue, online is not possible without the V5.
Any suggestions, as I do not want it clamped again (£260 to release) and they are apparently entitled to do so from 24 hours after the previous clamp has been removed.
Help me PH, you're my only hope!

Perhaps you should give up driving and catch the bus.I had a car parked on my drive which was SORNed, I had to move it from my drive and park on the street. I know I should have then got it taxed, but due to it having no MOT I could not get this done.
