New(ish) V8V owner

Hello chaps,

I've been lurking here for a while and thought it was about time to say hello.

Having previously owned a DB7 and then being without an Aston for a couple of years, I bought this lovely V8 Vantage back in April. It's a 2007 4.3 with power pack upgrade in Merlot red. It's been fab driving it over the summer and although it's not a daily driver I will try to use it as much as possible all year.

If there are any Thames Valley based owners on here, it would be great to make contact.

When looking before buying, I saw some with the plinth and some without. At the time I thought the plinth was ugly, but then when I eventually got mine, I didn't mind it so much. I may yet get round to taking it off, but it's not a priority at the moment.

Lovely colour and a nice find with the power upgrade for a little extra top-end rush enjoy the beastie, and don't forget to take the parcel shelf out (lay it on the boot floor) for maximum V8 in-cabin roar

That reminds me :

Was leaving Waitrose in College Town a week or so back and followed a white Vantage out of the car park - OU56 ... (Same first part of registration as mine). I wasn't in the vantage though - was in the 360.

Anybody from here? Unusual colour but looked good.
