ID required

I went to the Wings museum near Balcombe in West Sussex today and wondered if any of the experts here had any idea what aircraft this might be from?

Some Cessna variant maybe?

Mmm, an hour or so of Google Image browsing led me to the same conclusion - looks a lot like some of the throttle/trim controls in photos of Cessna 310 cockpits.

I've flown numerous variants of the Cessna twin-engined piston family and it definitely looks like one of them. Hard to tell the type, but my guess from the heat switches ahead of the red mixture levers, is that it's probably one of the smaller types (like the C310 mentioned).

(I flew a lot in the 404/421 variants and all the systems switches were in a panel on the left hand side)
