Pilot Sport 2s

I need new rears on my 996, 285/30 r18. I cant find PS2's anywhere and am loath to fit SC2's given the age of the design. I thought about 285/35's but cant find PSS/PS2 in this size. Apart from "get a set of GT3 RS wheels" which is an excellent idea but one for next year, has anyone got any bright ideas about replacements before I admit defeat and go for the Contis?

Exactly the same issue for me a couple of weeks ago; I went with 275/35 Pilot Sport 4s (they don't do 285/35). £350 fitted.

They get very good reviews everywhere and seem fine to me (only done about 200 miles....).

Which 996 do you have? Wouldn't even a 996.2 would be fine on 265/35/18, which are also available in PS4, which as mentioned above will be better than PS2 in every way.

A 996.2. I think the 275's are the way to go as suggested. Someone told me it would feel sluggish with 295's and good to hear that someone else has gone with 275s.
