Eagle F1 GS-D3 but not R18 you need ZR rated tyres.

You do want R18, that means radial (and not cross ply), 18" dia rims. Y is the speed rating and is a sub-division of Z. That tyre is also the factory spec.

Yep the 91Y is the speed rating, unique to TVR i believe??

As an aside though, a couple of different sources have said that the sidewalls are too stiff on these tyres for the T350 - They are designed for cars that weigh 50% more and therefore arent the "optimal" tyre for the job as they have to run slightly underinflated to compensate..?

May be wrong, but as I've said - just been told that from a couple of sources...!


I've also just heard a rumour that TVR are going back to Toyo Proxes this year as they are more compatible..?!

I saw Goodyears on mytyres' website for about £120 each yesterday.

Micheldever are usually very cheap, and Mytyres are also very cheap - I usually get mine from on or other of these, although a price match with Kwikfit is usually worth a punt, just to see what their minimum prices are - they have a floor below which they cannot go, and since fitting/valve etc is about £6-10 a tyre when bringing tyres in for fitting, that has to be factored in.

bought them for £117 from mytyres ... will get them fitted local for about £20 for 2. Mytyres could not supply Toyos and etyres do not cover my area anymore.

will let you know if i feel any difference.

So interesting! I must say the tamora I test drove a year ago was on Toyo's and the one that got delivered in July last year has GoodYears. I did notice it was easier to drive! So may be its down to your own style!
