S vs idiot in MINI

Just been to pick my brother up from college. Thought I'd take the S and see if I had any leaks from the new Silicone water hoses I put on (from ACT).

Was getting some very dodgy looks from a young lad with a MINI Cooper in the carpark as I waited. Obviously the bank of Mum and Dad had stretched to buying him a nice 04 car and he was getting a bit antsy because a lto of people were pointing at the S. So whilst waiting for my brother the lad jumps into his car, once he has filled it with 3 young ladies and proceeds to show me what GM's SOHC 1.6 sounds like when it is having the nuts revved off it. Let me say, it isn't good. Eventually my brother turns up and I start up. Cue one very sheepish looking MINI driver 130 dB+ his car isn't. So he decideds that he will get the jump on me and screams off out of the car park. These young kids today.

Halfway home I see a queue of traffic and riding 6" off the bumper of a Range Rover is Mr MINI. Eventually there is a long straight bit of road. I take a look indicate, drop a cog and pull out. Easy past the MINI and then past the 2 cars in front, both going slowly. In my rear view mirror what do I see, MINI driver decideds that he has to show off and tries to overtake me as I am completing my manuver (and still accelerating)!! So in a small fit of anger I keep the pedal down and carry on (on my side of the road) with the MINI trailing off in the distance. Insenced by the fact that his shiney MINI could over take a 13 year old car he eventually catches up with lots of light flashing and rides my tail all the way to my drive.

Hmmmmm.....

Ive had similar but TBH they just tend to vanish from the rear view mirror,dont know why after all its a 12 year old car

Funny enough it does seem to happen quiet regulary, a souped up 200sx tried his hand not so long back, it wasn't until I let him past did I see the 'NISMO' badging on the back . Me thinks he got the stickers at a max power convention or on ebay .
