What an unbelievable few weeks!

After waiting for what seemed like forever, my 911R is finally here. Collecting her at the end of the week from Porsche Centre Colchester who have been awesome throughout the whole process. More than a little excited.

Believed to be the only Lava Orange R in the UK, one of only 20 worldwide. Also, as far as we know, it's the only one with factory fitted white stripes. The build number is 671, as a nod to the 1967 R3 prototype R with chassis number 307671. 1967 Porsche 911R R3

So pleased with how it's come out.

Very nice.... superb colour choice. I saw one up close a few weeks ago at a coffee and cars charity event Colchester promoted. I'll have to nip up there on the way out tonight and have a nose, it's 2mins from me.
Congratulations....

Superb! Love the fact you've echoed a historic car with the paint choice.

Hopefully you'll keep it rather longer than the one DK Engineering have put up for sale today!

Nice car indeed, great bold colour choice!

may I discreetly ask how the order came about, did they invite you to buy?

Congrats...it looks pretty special, at first I thought it was Guards Red, bloody lovely that.

I'd keep that warm and dry till the spring next year then unleash it on the B roads.

Looks great. The stripes are a good match. Are they matte?

I'm collecting mine next week...so know how you've been feeling!

Congratulations. But I still don't get the hype of the 991R

thats lovely, personally prefer your colour choice to the white and green stripe combo! I was in Colchester OPC yesterday and they have some lovely cars there, lava orange RS and 2 x 918's! Amazing seeing two side by side, 1.4million pounds each!

Has Colchester OPC become the Flagship dealership in the UK? everything tasty seems to come out of there!

I believe they sold the most 918, circa 15 gt4 ,hate to think how many 991RS and I think they have received circa 4 991R!
So yes probably one of the top franchised OPC !
